Our goal for staff development is high levels of learning for all students, teachers, and administrators.MCISD uses a "train-the-trainer" approach that originated several years ago from the TIE Grant initiative.The train-the-trainer method promotes collaboration among teachers and facilitators, and provides opportunities for feedback and modifications necessary to reach our staff development goals.We encourage ongoing teams that meet on a regular basis for lesson planning, problem solving, web-page editing, and curriculum development.These learning teams are committed to continuous improvement and engage their members in improving their daily work to advance the achievement of MCISD goals for student learning. |

Holly Norman registers all staff electronically for Region VI workshops. The Region flyers for a particular workshop may direct you to register online, but please send the form and the request for participation to your principal for approval. Holly Norman will send you a confirmation after she completes your registration. |
