Madisonville CISD Elementary and Intermediate campuses announce a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program due to the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2019-2020 school year.

Nutritional Information
 
At MCISD we strive to serve wholesome and nutritious products. We use trusted quality brands such as Tyson, Pilgrims Pride, General Mills, Kelloggs, Land O Lakes, and many more! Our menus meet the nutrition standards required by the Nationals School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.
We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Smart Snacks and Fundraising Regulations
 
Many organizations hold fundraising activities throughout the school year. The USDA has established regulations on food beverages sold on campus.  No school fundraiser activities are exempt from the Smart Snack regulations.
