A-F Accountability
The Texas school accountability system was updated by HB 2804 from the 84th Legislature to assign campuses and districts with one of five ratings from A-F, based on student performance on state standardized tests, graduation rates, and college, career & military readiness indicators. These ratings assess student achievement, school progress, and closing achievement gaps among different student groups.
After years of litigation within the state, the ratings for the following school years have been released:
2022/2023 - MCISD Overall District Rating - B
2023/2024 - MCISD Overall District Rating - B
2024/2025 - MCISD Overall District Rating - A
