School Accountability

The release of any State of Texas Public School District's A-F rating is currently postponed as a result of pending verification/amendments to rules (related to the STAAR redesign year and changes in accountability). This delay is occurring at the State level. All schools and students can access their 2023 assessment scores. Once the district receives its 2023 rating, it will be promptly provided. It is worth noting that the Mustangs demonstrated strong performance on the new STAAR/EOC
The most recent evaluation received by MCISD was for the 2021/2022 school year, resulting in an overall rating of A for the district.
An evaluation for the 2023/2024 school year is expected to be received in August and will be publicly available.
It is currently uncertain whether any district in Texas will receive an evaluation for the 2022/2023 school year, but if one is provided, it will also be made public.
